Drive over the world-famous Khardung La Pass to reach the stunning Nubra Valley, where you’ll witness sand dunes, double-humped camels, and the unique blend of desert and mountains. Continue your journey to the spectacular Pangong Lake, known for its surreal blue waters that change shades with the sunlight — a truly unforgettable experience.
Return to Leh for your flight back to Delhi, carrying memories of Ladakh’s raw beauty, peaceful culture, and spiritual charm.
DESTINATION: DELHI-LEH-NUBRA VALLEY-PANGONG LAKE-LEH-DELHI
Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
After landing at the Delhi airport, you must clear customs and meet the representative who will welcome you with a garland. Later on, you will get transferred to the hotel, where you will have dinner and relax from your journey.
Day 2: Delhi to Leh
After breakfast, you will then catch a flight to Leh, which will offer you the stunning views of the Himalayas from the plane. You will check into a hotel, unpack and then wander through the colourful market alleys of Leh. Return to the hotel, take dinner and rest.
Day 3: Hemis, Thiksey and Shey
Check out the Hemis Gompa, which is well-known for its lively thangkas and gilded Buddha statues. After that, pay a visit to the Thiksey Monastery and also to the ancient and beautiful Shey Palace. Return to Leh for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Leh to Nubra Valley
Drive over the Khardung La Pass (5,200m) and towards the Nubra Valley. Once you arrive, settle down into the desert camp and then head out for a camel ride on the dunes to witness the beautiful sunset. Return to the camp, take dinner beneath the starry sky and stay overnight at the camp.
Day 5: Nubra to Pangong Tso
After a delicious breakfast, travel to the east across the Chang La Pass to the Pangong Lake. Check into the lakeside camp and spend the afternoon watching the water turn from sapphire to emerald. Take dinner by the shore and rest.
Day 6: Pangong to Leh
Return to Leh via the Indus River valley, passing apricot orchards and wild orchids. Afternoon at leisure and visit the Shanti Stupa at sunset. Dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7: Leh to Delhi
Early‑morning transfer to the airport for your flight back to Delhi. On arrival, join a half‑day city tour: India Gate, President’s Palace, and the Parliament buildings. Evening check‑in and dinner at your Delhi hotel.
Day 8: Delhi Departure
After breakfast, check out and explore the Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Then hop on a bicycle rickshaw through Old Delhi’s spice markets and narrow lanes. Visit the Bahá’í (Lotus) Temple, enjoy a farewell lunch, and squeeze in last‑minute shopping before your evening transfer to the airport.
